That’s the title of an article The New York Times recently published.
Now, personally, I think the title should read “How to Get Rich by B̵u̵y̵i̵n̵g̵ 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 a 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 Franchise”
The reason why is pretty simple – if you’re successful investing in and growing the right franchise, it can be lucrative.
However, just because you “buy” a franchise doesn’t mean anything – it certainly doesn’t guarantee you’re going to get rich.
To get rich, you have to put in the work and grow it (like anything).
Now, if you do it the right way, investing a franchise can shortcut your success.
The article does a good job shedding light on what is possible by investing in surprising franchises and the importance of investing in the right franchise.
For instance, the article talks about how one franchise owner has been able to build a non-sexy franchise into a $20 million business.
This particular owner lives in Costa Rica six months a year.
He owns a plumbing franchise.
It also talks about the key ingredients to success that you have to bring to the table.
Stuff like leadership, business acumen, energy, and funding.
If you want to talk about any of this franchise stuff, I’m happy to chat.
