Don’t do this if you’re thinking about buying a franchise

by | Mar 4, 2020 | Blog

Don’t start with Google.

And don’t search something like “most profitable franchises to own.”

Up will pop a ton of different results

“24 top-ranked, affordable franchises you can own for under $25,000”

“The Top 10 Franchises to Open in 2020”

Blah, blah, blah

Maybe you click on the least obnoxious link to a website that appears reputable.

Next thing you know, you’ll be scanning the list.

And then a franchise strikes you…

You need this in your area!

Your neighbors were just talking about how great it would be to have this business nearby!

You submit your contact info for a “free report.”

And there is your mistake

Your phone will start to ring immediately

Your inbox will be flooded with information from random franchises you’ve never heard of

You’ll get a ton of text messages too

For the next 24 hours, you’ll be the most popular person in the world!

And everyone is trying to sell you their franchise

All you wanted was a little more information on a franchise you were curious about

So, if you’re lonely, start Googling away

If you want professional help exploring franchises to buy, find someone on the inside of franchising who can help you navigate it.
